Glam Port Beauty Salon

*Though I received an invitation to visit the salon, all opinions expressed are my own.

Glam Port Beauty Salon, Salmiya

The Glam Port Beauty Salon opened its doors a few months ago and I was very kindly invited to the Salon to try out their services.  The salon was easy to find and very conveniently located, just off Baghdad Street and right above Ovo (see below for their location on google maps).  I was greeted by the lovely receptionist and was asked what I would like to get done.  As my nails were atrocious (busy mum life with 2 small children can take a toll on your nails), I decided to do a manicure and pedicure.  I was ushered into the treatment room and then allowed to choose the shade of polish I wanted - they do gelish and chrome too and also carry polish brands like LCN which by the way is 5-free!

The manicurist filled up the foot spa with water and added a lavender tablet for relaxation and a few shards of a milk and honey formula to soften my feet.  Though I couldn't really smell either, I did feel like a queen.

Blackberry scrub - Glam Port Beauty Salon, Salmiya

I was then also asked what scrub I preferred and was presented with a little platter with samples of all their different scrubs.  I loved the fruity smell of the blackberry and decided to go with that.  The staff soaked, trimmed and preened my nails and about an hour later, my short stubby nails were turned into glossy works of art!  Loved it!

You can view the services (and prices) Glam Port offer on their online booking app here.  They do take walk-ins too, but I love the idea of booking and going, ensures you you get the services you want, when you want it and also with the staff you prefer.  Jonalyn and Mercy did my manicure and pedicure and they were both just lovely!

Glam Port is also on instagram @glam_port (do give them some love!) and they even had a contest running over the New Year period.  Why not give Glam Port a try the next time you need some pampering?
